Hello everyone, growing up in the Lipper Bergland in Germany I already had a connection to nature and the adventures that go with it at a young age. Since December I have been traveling in the breathtaking nature of North America, and every day is incredible. Whether it is in the Bavarian Alps or in the wild nature of Norway, hiking has always been a part of life for me. I am very much looking forward to sharing the incredible nature of Canada together with you. See you soon!
Manuel Herold
Hello everyone, I’m Manuel and I grew up in the picturesque foothills of the Bavarian Alps, where I developed a passion for fresh mountain air and adventure at an early age. Nature has always been my playground – whether it was hiking in the Alps near my childhood home, backpacking from Colombia through the Andes to Patagonia, or exploring the Rocky Mountains in Colorado while working as a German teacher in the USA. Even my exhilarating three weeks working as a waiter at the Oktoberfest turned out to be an adventure in itself. After graduating this spring with a degree in Physical Education and English, I’m excited to bring my love of the outdoors and physical activity to the vast landscapes of Canada. I can’t wait to hike with you through Canada’s breathtaking natural scenery, discovering hidden gems and creating countless memorable moments around the campfire.
Marina Hoffmann
Hello everyone, I am Marina from Gladbeck, a small city in the heart of Ruhrgebeit in Germany. I have been camping and exploring with friends and family almost all of my life. I love being a part of nature, hiking in the forests and mountains, exploring valleys and swimming in streams. I like to take time to listen to the wind and gaze at landscapes, and cherish the experiences. I have just started exploring in Canada and always look forward to meeting people and going to new places. As a guide with Timberwolf Tours, I am looking forward to exploring Canada with you and creating memories.

Nicolas Korn
Greetings, fellow adventurers! My name is Nicolas, and I am thrilled to travel with you in Western Canada. While I have been born in Hannover, my deep connection with nature was nurtured on my grandmother’s old farm, located near the city. From an early age, I found joy in being outdoors. For my Bachelor’s studies, I moved to the enchanting city of Freiburg im Breisgau, located in the southern part of Germany. Surrounded by multiple mountains and rivers, my passion for hiking in nature’s embrace grew even more. Before continuing on my master’s degree in this city, a desire to experience the wonders of Canada grew in me. The reason was a gift from my father. A captivating book about Canada, its natural beauty, teeming wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. As soon as I laid eyes on its pages, I knew that I had to see this country firsthand. Prior to accepting the role of a tour guide, I had the opportunity to venture through British Columbia and Alberta, on my own. I explored the Rocky Mountains and can now confidently confirm that these landscapes are even more beautiful than captured in any photograph. Now, as your trusted guide, I am ecstatic to share my experiences and knowledge with you. I really recommend exploring this remarkable region, where every step taken will unfold a new and unforgettable chapter in your active vacation. So, prepare yourselves for the journey as we embrace the spirit of adventure in this incredible country. See you soon I’m super excited to show the beautiful places here in Canada and explore the amazing landscapes together. Also I’m looking forward to have some nice conversations around the fire!

Guten Tag!

Michael Lobsiger
Hello Everyone! I was born in Switzerland and moved to Canada at the age of seven. Been travelling most of my life and called Canada home for 25 years now. I have worked many jobs over the years including guiding canoe trips, dog mushing and working with at risk youth near Toronto. I attended a wilderness survival school which focused on nature connection, learning in an outdoor environment and naturalist skills which come in handy when guiding tours. I have my level 1 kayak and my first responders courses and also completed a 200hr yoga teacher training in Cusco, Peru. One of my passions is blacksmithing which I do professionally too. I’ve driven across Canada several times; all the way from Ontario to Whitehorse and Alaska. I never seem to stay put in one place for too long. When I’m not guiding usually I am in the garden, in a gym somewhere or solo travelling around the world. My most recent trip was to Hawaii; not sure where to next. I am currently stoked for an amazing summer of guiding tours in Western Canada. See you soon.

Hey there! I was born and raised near the beautiful Hanseatic city of Hamburg, Germany. Since I was a child, I spent most of my time actively outdoors. Whether it was camping, hiking, white water kayaking or playing soccer. Seven years ago, I was in Canada for the first time. I visited the east coast of Canada and since then I have been fascinated by the beautiful landscape and wildlife that this beautiful part of the country has to offer. This ignited my dream of travelling to the west part of Canada. Since October 2022, I have been living my dream in Western Canada and working in Banff. Here I have been fulfilling my passion, skiing. The Rocky’s has become like a new home to me and I am overwhelmed every morning by the majestic mountains. I am looking forward to showing you the breathtaking nature of Western Canada and for you to experience it first hand on many hikes. Let’s have an unforgettable trip with many unique impressions that you will remember for a lifetime! Travel as much as you can, as long as you can. Life’s not meant to be lived in one place.

Hi dear outdoor friends! My name is Cedric. I grew up in the eastern part of Belgium where I spent most of my childhood time exploring the beautiful Eifel/Ardennes forests. Many of the past few years, I’ve been traveling the globe, always seeking new adventures and especially new summits to climb! Being in the mountains has always fascinated me and over the past couple years, I’ve gained plenty of experience in this wonderful but harsh environment! For about a year now, I’ve been backpacking through Europe and South America, looking for new impressions and breathtaking nature. I studied tourism management, and foreign cultures and languages are my great passion. I’m looking forward to exploring the breathtaking nature of Canada together with you and experiencing unforgettable moments together. See you soon, adventurers!
